If you need to reduce the file size of your videos, you can do this using Handbrake.

Handbrake is free to download and easy to use.

It can :

convert various file formats, including Flash (.flv) which will soon no longer be supported by Adobe and web browsers.
reduce the file size of large videos
batch convert files
