Question:
There seems to be a problem with this week's online discussion forum
The settings seem okay to me - at least they seem to be the same as in previous weeks which haven't caused problems.
It seems that the students can access the discussion page but can't see the discussion threads which I've started at the bottom of the page.
Only one student has reported this problem but I notice that nobody has yet posted so it's likely to affect others also.
What do you think?

This may be happening because the Forum is set to
Separate Groups or
Visible Groups and you are posting to All participants. When a Group mode is selected, students cannot reply as this is not a 'group' they belong to.
If you do not need to post messages to particular groups in a Forum, change the Common module settings to
No groups and students will then be able to reply.
