"I'm trying to add a user to my Moodle unit--- but when I type in a user's name in the enrollment search box, no name comes up."
Probable causes and solutions
- Check that you are typing the correct Monash authcate username. You can also enter the name used in the email address including the 'dot', i.e. firstname.lastname
- User does not have a Monash authcate username. Note that only Monash users with authcate usernames and password can be enrolled in the Monash Moodle units.
- User has a newly created Monash authcate username. It takes at least 24-hours for the newly created authcate name to be synched with Moodle. If it's been more than a day, contact eSolutions.
- User is already enrolled in the unit. To browse a list of participants/users enrolled in the unit, in the Navigations block, click 'Participants'.
