Lecture Capture - Linking to Moodle

You will need to link your Echo360 courses to Moodle. Here are some instructions:

1. Set up the Echo360 External Tool in Moodle (video ~1min)

2. Link from a Moodle Unit to a Section in Learning Capture (video ~1min)

A step-by-step guide:

Linking to a Section Home

  1. Log into Moodle and open your course
  2. Click the Echo360 tool link you’ve already added to the course. You will be taken to the “Connect your Echo360 Content” window.
  3. Use the search bar and drop-down lists on the window that appears to find the Course, Term, and Section to link to, or choose it from your “currently linked sections”.
  4. Select “Link to the Section Home”
  5. Click "Link content"
  6. The Moodle course is now linked to the corresponding Echo360 Section.
  7. Click “Reset Moodle Monash link” if you need to unlink the Section
Linking to a classroom
  1. If you would like to link to individual Classes, you will need to create Echo360 External Tool links for each week.
  2. Log into Moodle and open your course
  3. Click the Echo360 tool link you’ve already added to the course. You will be taken to the “Connect your Echo360 Content” window.
  4. Use the search bar and drop-down lists on the window that appears to find the Course, Term, and Section to link to, or choose it from your “currently linked sections”.
  5. Click "link to a Classroom".
  6. Select the class you want to link to and then click “Link content”
  7. You can continue these steps for the following weeks.
