Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) is a learning management system (LMS) used for the creation of online learning sites.

Moodle provides a flexible means of access to information, communication, and participation in learning activities (quizzes, assignments) for students.

How do I get a Moodle site?

Moodle sites are not automatically rolled over from one semester or year to the next. A new request must be submitted for all sites, whether they are new or existing.

Training and support

  • Some online Moodle courses are available on the Staff Development Unit website.
  • We can also provide Moodle training, either for small groups or individual training focusing on your specific needs. We can work with you to design an integrated Moodle site to promote effective student learning. Please contact us at med-elearning@monash.edu to discuss your requirements.
