As a default, Moodle sites will go live on the first day of Orientation Week and will run until the end of the deferred exam period.

When we set up Moodle sites we provide the requester with the option to select their own access dates. This is chosen on the site request form.

On your Moodle Site(s) is a 'Callista' block which will show you what the access dates are.

Allie Ford emailed the following in Dec 2022...

"Hi everyone,

Many of our faculty’s Moodle units have access dates which extend to the course-completion dates for students, to ensure they are able to access previous teaching materials and submissions throughout their courses.

With the introduction of a Past Student role in Moodle, in most cases the requirement for extended access end dates for Moodle is no longer required, as students are still able to access most content in completed units in a read-only mode once their marks for the unit have been released. The linked diagram shows what students can access through the Past Student role and which activities have limited access.

We have become aware of some academic integrity issues, where students have gone back to completed units, copied quiz questions, answers and feedback, and shared these with current students."
